Events

Events: Castle Lager Braai Day

Urban Striker and 34 broke a Guinness World Record for Castle Lager for the Most People Braaiing Simultaneously across 5 locations.

 

Urban Striker managed the Cape Town event at SAB Newlands with 1500 people attending, and 900 consumers participating in the Guinness World Record attempt, as well as managed the Durban event with over 3500 consumers of which 450 participated in the Guinness World Record attempt, despite the rain experienced throughout the day.

 

US and 34 were instrumental in the planning and logistics around the criteria for a GWR attempt.

Events: ENRC Mining Indaba

Urban Striker has managed and set up a networking cocktail function for UK based Mining Company, ENRC, for the past 2 years during the annual Mining Indaba.

 

Each year the event drew over 350 guests, despite being on the same night as the official gala dinner for the Mining Indaba.

 

 

Events: ABSOLUT Black Box

Urban Striker, in partnership with 34, managed and set up the Absolut Black Box events which showcases Transformative Art through 4 different forms of art. These forms of art include Photography, Fashion, Street Art and Music.

 

The campaign kicked off with brand Activations taking place in the top 20 key outlets across the country and ended in an invite only event being hosted in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Brand Activation: REDD’S

Urban Striker has implemented more than 5000 sampling activations across the country over the past year in various specialist liquor outlets, taverns and bars, as well managed the logistics, set up and implementation of 500 Photobooth activations.  To date we have reached in excess of 170000 consumers.
